Hearldon “Chief” Hager, 74, of Peytona passed away on Friday, June 14, 2013 at his home.
He was born July 23, 1938 and was a son of the late Clarence and Eva Thompson Hager.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley; two daughters, Lora Halstead and Laci Ellis both of Peytona ; two sons, Paul Allen Hager of Peytona and Michael Salmon of Poca; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 18 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will follow in Drawdy Cemetery, Drawdy, WV.
Friends may call from 6 to 9 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
