Helen Lorine Green

Helen Lorine Green, known as Billie, age 85, of Bim, WV died March 1, 2016 at her home. She was born February 8, 1931 in Costa, WV the daughter of the late Joe Nelson & the late Mary O Workman. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years Robert Gleason Green of Bim, WV. She professed her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior.

She is survived by one son, Robert Allen Green & fiancée Glenda Tolliver of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; one grandson, Robin Green & wife Monica Green of Richmond, Virginia; one granddaughter, Katina Jacobs & husband Alan Jacobs of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; one great- granddaughter, Hannah Green of Harrisonburg, Virginia; one great- grandson, Casey Green of Chesterfield, Virginia; one son-in-law, Shirley Green of Bob White, WV; and many nephews, nieces and relatives.

She was preceded in death by two sons, Johnny Hill of Alabama and Jimmy Hill of Ohio; two daughters, Barbara Jean Green of Bob White, WV and Beverly Ann Green of Bim, WV; one son-in-law, Carson Green of Bob White, WV; one daughter-in-law, Betty Mullins Green of Tuscaloosa, Alabama; nine brothers and sisters; and many relatives.

A special thank you to all pall bearers: Robin Green, Steve Green, Randy Nelson, Jeff Nelson, Rob Nelson and Mitch Nelson. A special thank you to Pastor David Cook for officiating the service and Daisy Plaster, Timothy Spratt for the beautiful singing. Thank you so much to Pastor David Cook, Pastor Scott Harvey and Pastor Scotty Elswick for praying over our dear loved one and with the family. We were very appreciative for the prayers, phone calls, food and visits. May GOD bless each and everyone of you. Love Green Family

Funeral services will be held March 3, 2016 for wake at 6 to 8 p.m. and funeral 11 a.m. March 4, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home 439 Phipps Avenue Danville, WV 25053. Friends and family may visit from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
