Henry Chester Halstead

Henry Chester Halstead 86 of Peytona, WV passed away December 14, 2022 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston, WV.
He was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA.
He is preceded by his parents, Bernard and Cephie Halstead; spouse, Juanita; siblings Charles, Betty, Richard, Delmer and Gene; daughter Tina; and special life long friend Cecil McKinney.
He is survived by sons, Richie Halstead of Racine and Larry “Sniffer” Halstead of Drawdy; brother, Elmer Halstead; seven grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; and a host of extended children and grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2022 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Allen Skeens officiating. Burial will follow in Halstead Cemetery, Drawdy, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
