Herman Reynolds

Herman Reynolds , 84, of West Hamlin, WV passed away January 24, 2014 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, WV. He was born July 26, 1929 a son of the late Joseph and Emma Johnson Reynolds. He was a laborer at Connors Steel and an Army Korean War veteran.

He is survived by his wife Lola Smith Reynolds of West Hamlin; daughter Joyce (Scottie) Workman of Barboursville, WV; sons Ormond (Lois) Smith of Michigan and Ricky Reynolds of Barboursville, WV; brother Herb Reynolds of Maryland; sisters Donna (Kenny) Saxton of Ohio, Dana (Hershey) Karnes of Barboursville, WV, Norma Riffet of Huntington, WV and Pyllis (Ted) Hazelette of Ohio; granddaughter Brandy (Matt) Walker of Ona, WV; grandson Scottie Lee (Stephanie) Workman of Huntington, WV; great-grandchildren Haylee and Logan Workman and Lola Mae Walker. Herman is also survived by several nieces and nephews and a multitude of friends and neighbors.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and neighbor.

Funeral services will be Monday January 27 at 1:00 pm at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home in West Hamlin, WV with Herb Reynolds and Steve Johnson officiating. Burial will follow at Enon Cemetery in Salt Rock, WV. Viewing will be Sunday from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the funeral home.
