Irene Olive Dinken

Irene Harless Dinken, 95, of Yawkey, WV formerly of Lakeland Florida, passed away January 18, 2024 at Boone Memorial Hospital. 

She was born March 17, 1928 in Lincoln County. She was preceded in death by her parents Alva & Ethel Harless; her sister Delores Vineyard; and her husband Herb Dinken I.

She is survived by one son, Herb (Mina) Dinken II; one daughter, Mary Elizabeth Evan's; sister, Lorene Caudill, with who she made her home with; 13 grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Irene attended Faith Baptist Church of Spurlockville, WV

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, January 22, 2024 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Pastor Johnny May officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Fitzgerald Cemetery in Medulla, Florida.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to service at the funeral home.
