Irene Lee Johnson, 78, of West Hamlin passed away Saturday January 28, 2017 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. She was born May 17, 1938 in West Hamlin, a daughter of the late Chris and Alma Rose Thompson Lemberious.
She is survived by her husband Bobby Winfred Johnson; one son, Randy Kirk Johnson (Beverly) of West Hamlin; one grandson, Shawn Aaron Johnson (Sabrina) of Crown City, OH; one granddaughter, Jaimee Gue (Nick) of West Hamlin; six great grandchildren, Jaycee, Jayla, Jenna, Lucy, Leo and Calvin. The family would like to thank her caregivers, Donna Jeffrey, Judy Salmons, Terry Pennington, Eleanor Johnson and the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House.
Funeral services will be 12:00pm Tuesday January 31, 2017 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Lonnie Wilson officiating. The burial will follow in the Ray Cemetery, West Hamlin, WV.
A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
