Isaac Carpenter Jr., 71, of Harts passed away on March 22, 2013 at CAMC Memorial Hospital, Charleston.
He was born May 1, 1941 in Barnabus, WV, son of Isaac Carpenter Sr. and Plumer Akers Carpenter.
He is survived by his wife, Patty; daughters, Angelina Williams of Cross Lanes and Aleah Carpenter of Harts; son, Isaac Anthony III of Raleigh, NC; brother, Julius Roosevelt of Raleigh, NC and Jimmy of Omar, WV; and granddaughter, Rebekkah Brown of Huntington.
He retired from Penn Virginia Resource Corporation as a land agent. He attended Olive Branch Church and was a member of the I.O.O.F. (Independent Order of Odd Fellows.)
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday, March 25 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Tom Bias officiating. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Logan.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
