“Don’t Look Back, Remember Back”
Today we remember James Edward May who’s work here on Earth was done September 23, 2020 at the age of 85. He is now rejoicing in his heavenly home with his wife Lucille; sons Kenny, Ronnie, and Sonny; daughter Phyllis “Toots”; his mother and father; brothers and sisters; and those who loved him.
Born on November 11, 1934, James was a self employed “jack of all trades”. He was a family man who had 16 kids to care for. James loved to go to church, read his bible, sing, play his guitar, and watch his westerns and Nascar.
He is survived by his daughters Wilma Eplin, Angeline Tooley, Cheryl Carroll, Carol Smith, Connie Bailey, Debbie Watts, and Deidre Wiblen; his sons, Jim, Rick and Edward Ma; his brothers Bobby, Tommy and Richard May; sisters, Marie McNeeley and Angle Baker. He will also be missed by a host of grandkids, great grandkids, nieces, nephews, cousins, church family and friends.
Funeral service will be 12:00 Noon on Saturday September 26, 2020 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV. The burial will follow in the Limestone Cemetery, Limestone.
Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed with mask and social distancing.
