James Harold McCloud

James Harold McCloud, 80, of Branchland, WV, passed away on December 9, 2024.

He was born on May 3, 1944, in Logan County, West Virginia, and was a dedicated bricklayer for 50 years. James's life was rooted in faith and service. He was a devoted member of Lincoln Baptist Church and held membership at the Hamlin Masonic Lodge. Additionally, he belonged to the McClarity Fork Baptist Church.

He is preceded in death by his parents, William and Marie McCloud, 2 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. 

James is survived by his beloved family, his wife, Loretta McCloud; children Robert Davidson, Lonnie Davidson, and Patricia Davidson Queen; as well as his four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Friday, December 13, 2024 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home in West Hamlin, WV, with visitation one hour prior to the service.
