James Robert Miller

James Robert Miller, 87, died at home on March 12, 2015, with family and friends, of Laurel Fork in Lincoln County resided at 1143 Cobbs Creek Sod, WV. He was born September 22,1927, a son of the late Robert and Emma Dolin. He was preceded in death by his sister, Norma Toney; brother Hershel Dolin; and son Barry Miller.

Survived by three sons, Joey Miller of Sod, Ricky Miller and Gary Miller, both of Alkol. Three daughters, Cora Messinger, Edith Lovejoy both of Spurlockville, and Essie Parsons of Alum Creek. 19 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 9 step great-grand children.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Monday March 16, 2015 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV with David Vickers officiating. The burial will follow in the Singing Branch Cemetery, Alkol, WV.
A visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral.
