James “Jimmy” Dale Vance, 65, of Uneeda, WV passed away Thursday, October 4, 2018.
He was born September 11, 1953 a son of Lucille Robertson of Ripley, WV and Bill Vance of Logan, WV. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Margie and Kendall Browder of Quinland, WV and Susie and Boyd Vance of Logan, WV; and nephews Roger and Scott Vance and Micheal Bailey.
He is survived by his mother, Lucille Robertson of Ripley, WV; daughter, Shawna (Kevin) Walker of South Charleston, WV; grandchildren, Jacob and Kayla Walker of South Charleston; sisters, Coleen (Delmer) Jarrell of Ripley, WV, and Linda (Mike) Bailey of Ripley, WV; brothers, Roger (Debbie) Vance of Ripley, WV, Billy Vance of Uneeda, WV, David (Lesa) Vance of Hurricane, WV, and Kendall and Orville Vance of Ripley, WV; nieces, Margie Smith of Anderson, SC, Hannah (Jon) Harvey of Waxhaw, NC, and Alicia (Joey) Dingess of Hurricane, WV; and nephews, Justin Vance of Charleston, and Billy Vance of Uneeda, WV; and uncle, Charley (Reda) Browder of Quinland, WV.
Service will be 2 p.m. Monday, October 8 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Aaron Melhorn of Ripley, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
