James "Jimmy" Ward

James (Jimmy) Ward, 55, of Madison, WV went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, August 23, 2020. He was preceded in death by his parents Betty and Lucien Ward; his brother and sister Edward Ward and Carolyn Forner; and his children Amber and James (Jamie) Ward.

James is survived by his daughter, Sabrina Ward and son, Ryan Holstien as well as his four grandchildren.

James’ presence brought many smiles and much laughter to everyone he knew, and his kind-loving heart never knew a stranger.

Services will be held for James at 6 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church located in Madison behind Chaney Eye Care. Services will be led by Pastor Jack Casey and Pastor Lyle McMicken, also Alicia and Jamy Whitmore who were the caretakers of James during the last three months of his life and provided as much comfort as possible, would like to give their deepest of condolences to the family for they have lost such a sweet soul.

The ashes of James (Jimmy) Ward will be given partly to his children and then taken back to his hometown in Whitesville, WV just as he had wished.
