James Edward Woodard 47 of Peytona, WV passed away October 14, 2021 CAMC, Charleston, WV.
He was a chemical operator for Kureha, Belle WV and was an Army veteran.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jackson, Woodard; grandparents, Roy S. and Sybil L. Casto of Clendenin and Alley R. and Nina B. Peek of North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife, Linda Woodard; mother, Sheila Woodard; daughters, Linsey Smith, Brandi Stover and Laci Woodard; sisters, Melissa Shaffer and Terri Halstead; grandchildren, Brett, Jr and Caylee Zornes, Braylen, Mason, Bailey and Holden Stover, and nieces and nephews, Jasmine Shaffer, Amiah Shaffer, Cameron Shaffer, Joshua Woodard, and Spencer Halstead.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at Tony Branch Freewill Baptist Church, with Pastor J.R. Perdue officiating. Burial will follow in Bloomingrose Cemetery, Bloomingrose, WV with military graveside rites by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578, Madison, WV.
Friends may call noon to service time at the church.
