Janice Faye Boyd Lewis 65 of Madison, WV went to Heaven on Sunday, April 3, 2022.
She was born on September 29, 1956 in Orlando, FL.
She was preceded in death by her mother Sadie May Thigpen and stepfather Franklin Thigpen of Dublin, GA, by her father Edward Boyd of Bon Aire, Ga, and brother Keith Thigpen also of Dublin.
Janie retired from a professional 20-year truck driving career as a truck driver due to cancer.
She is survived by her loving husband Gregory D. Lewis of Madison, her son James Andrew Woods and his wife Pam of Kansas, daughter and son-in-law Jessica Faye Payne and William P. Payne of Tallapoosa, GA, brothers; Ronnie & Wanda Boyd of Milledgeville, GA and Scott Thigpen of Dublin, GA, and a host of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday April 7 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
