Jean Howell Dolan

Jean Howell Dolan, 83, of Madison went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 21, 2016 at Boone Memorial Hospital, Madison.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Harold H. Howell and Madeline Berry Howell; her husband, Dr. Kenneth M. Dolan, and two sisters, Betty and Nancy.
She was a member of Madison United Methodist Church where she was in the Myrtle Lyon Circle. She was also a member of the Madison Garden Club and Madison Jr. Womens Club.
She is survived by children, Dr. Kenneth H. “Biff”(Cheryl) Dolan, Alum Creek, WV, Andrew Marion (Sherry) Dolan, Kimberly Jean Dolan and Dean Allen (Lisa) Dolan all of Madison; brother, H.H. (Ona Jane) Howell Jr. of Madison; grandchildren, Jeanna Marie (John) Hainer, Kenneth H.”Bo” (Lindsey) Dolan II, Mindy Teresa Dolan, Robert Wayne McComas, Lindsay Claire (Brandon) Green, Chelsea Leigh (Dave) Carter, Emily Madeline Dolan, Matthew Allen Dolan and Nicholas Dean Dolan; five great grandchildren, Zachary Tyler Newsome, Mitchell Dolan Hainer, Madeline Suzanne Hainer, Kenneth Cooper Dolan and Julia Reese Dolan.
Service will be 3 p.m. Sunday, April 24 at Madison United Methodist Church, Madison with the Rev. Rick Swearengin officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison.
Friends may call two hours prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers please make a donation in Jean’s honor to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
