Jeffrey Scott Messer

Jeffrey Scott Messer, age 51, born September 3, 1968, passed away February 5, 2020 at Boone Memorial Hospital due to his heart. He had more love in his heart than it could hold. He is now enjoying the company of all his departed loved ones.
“Jeffro” was always at home at the wheel of his big trucks. He drove for many years over the road, then came home to keep on driving. He drove for Long Run Trucking for years and was driving for WV Paving at the time of his passing. He will be missed by his many Trucker Friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Brady Messer and stepfather Carlean Stone and, brother-in-law Joseph Sharp, nephews Steven Cullison and Virgil Sharp, cousin Jeff Graley and all his aunts, uncles, and grandparents.
Jeff is survived by his daughter Skylar Messer, mother, Jessie Stone, sisters Peggy (Tom) Imler, Debbie (Joe) Workman, Patty (Tony) Miller, Sandy Sharp, brothers Mike Messer and Greg Messer, and many nephews, nieces, and two great nieces.
A loving but heartbreaking temporary farewell is scheduled for Sunday, February 9, 2020 at 2:00 at Handley’s Funeral Home in Danville WV.
