Jeremy Lee Puckett

Jeremy Lee Puckett, 40, of Van departed this life on Sunday, January 5, 2020 at home after a long illness. He was a construction worker, previously employed by Built Rite Construction.
He was preceded in death by an infant son, Jimmy Clayton Puckett, and an infant daughter, Kaylee Mae Puckett; his father, Kenny Dempsey; and his grandfather, Jimmy Lee Puckett.
He is survived by his mother, Teresa Lynn Jarrell of Greensboro, NC; a brother, Charles Dee Jarrell, of Greensboro, NC; his maternal grandmother, Linda Mae Puckett of Van, WV; and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.
Services will be held on Saturday, January 11, 2020 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Dr. David P. Jarrell of Lincolnton, NC officiating.
Private family viewing at 12:30, receiving of friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. followed by a Memorial service at 2:00 p.m.
Internment will be in Memory Gardens, Madison, WV.
