Jerri Vaughn

Jerri Vaughn 62 of Bald Knob WV went home to be with the Lord on October 5, 2014.
Jerri was an evangelist for more than 35 years and pioneered the way for lady evangelists in the area. There was nothing that made her happier than ministering to people. She also enjoyed ministering with her music whenever she got the chance. She loved spending time with her family, and especially her grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Harrison Jr. Gibson and Sylvia Gibson-Tyo.

She is survived by her husband; Troy Vaughn of Bald Knob, children; Jody Hoover of Elizabethton, TN. And Laura Poore and husband Scott of South Charleston, grandchildren; Coty Hoover of TN, Kiersten and Kelsie Poore of South Charleston, she is also survived by her brother; Ronnie and Tony Gibson, sisters; Gloria Gibson, Juanita Perry, Betty Moore, Rosemary Roop, Debra Price, and Stephanie”Stevie” Rash.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew her and the many lives she touched.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2014 Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Ronnie Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Donel Kinnard Memorial State Veterans Cemetery, Dunbar, WV.

Friends may call 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
