Jerry Lee Price Sr.

Jerry Lee Price Sr., 81, of Danville, WV passed way March 5, 2021.
He was born February 14, 1940, a son of the late Willie Lee and Sadie Price. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his siblings, two brothers Larry Price and Bobby Price and three sisters, Juanita Stiles, Wilma Aldefer, and JoAnn Scalf; son, Christopher Ray Price; and longtime companion, Leretta Sansom.
He was a member of the Church of Christ. He was a US Army veteran and a member of Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578 of Madison, WV where he served as Commander for many years. He loved deer hunting, fishing, hunting molly moochers and gardening.
He is survived by son, Jerry Lee Price Jr. of Danville, WV; daughters, Pamela Halstead (Kenneth) of Manning, SC, Devon Walker (Lyndell) Sorrento, Fla., and Kelly Branham of Danville, WV.; sister, Donna Loftus of Uneeda, WV; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; eight nieces; and 21 nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 10 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville. Burial will follow in Price Cemetery, Uneeda with military graveside rites performed by Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578 of Madison, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
