Jewell Iris Browning, 93 of Midkiff, WV died on Monday, May 2, 2016.
She was born April 19, 1923 a daughter of the late Harrison and Rosetta Lewis Johnson. She worked for the government as a factory worker. She was also preceded in death by four brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by a son Wesley H. Stansbury of IN; two daughters, Pamela Troney of Milton, and Anna H. Stansbury of Midkiff; two brothers, Lowell L. Johnson of OH, and Homer E. Johnson of Milton; 12 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, and 12 great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Friday May 6, 2016 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Steve Hinkle officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery, Ranger, WV.
Visitation will be one hour prior to service on Friday.
