Joey D. Ball, 58, of St. Albans, WV gained his wings at home on October 20th, 2021.
He was born to parents George Parkerson Ball and Doris Elaine Jarrell Ball on August 15th, 1963. Brother of Rickey Debra Ball, Robin Caroletta Ball, George Wendell Ball, and Shawn Ray Ball. Father of Joley E Ball, Emily M Ball, Joey J Ball, Thomas P Ball; grandfather of Sean D Ballard, Kallie R Ball and Justin R Jones.
Joey graduated at St. Albans High School, Homecoming King class of 1981. He was an athlete that soon became a little league Coach for Tornado Tigers Football. Joey’s passion for automobiles, lead him to be a lifelong mechanic. "The best in Kanawha Valley". Joey married the love of his life and the mother of his four children Michelle Ball in 1991, who survives him today.
Joey was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed spending that time with his sons. He was a gifted artist and gardener. His daughters were the apples of his eyes, blessing him with three beautiful grandchildren that he loved more than anything. Joey was a loving father, grandfather, and a loving friend. He loved to make everyone smile and to be surrounded by close family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his twin brother Joel Wayne Ball; his mother Doris Elaine Ball and father George P Ball.
Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, October 27th at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV. Burial will follow in Caldwell Family Cemetery on Low Gap Road, Madison, WV.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until service time at the funeral home.
