John Benton Dolin of Drawdy, WV born November 6, 1952 left this world Wednesday, September 2, 2015 to be with the Lord. 2 Timothy 4:7 says: I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course. I have kept the faith. That’s exactly what he did!
John was a member of Living Faith Church in Marmet and a former teacher at Living Faith Christian Academy. He was preceded in death by father Ira and sister Laura.
He left behind his wife Charlene Whitten Dolin; sons, Benton of Drawdy, Jeremiah of Huntington, and Michael (Ashley) of South Charleston; granddaughters, Martha and Clair; mother, Delores Dolin of Danville; brothers, Dennis (Jane) of Caryville, TN, Gene (Brenda) of Dandridge, TN, Chuck (Kathy) of Camp Creek, Jack (Teresa) and Ronald (Erica) of Madison; sisters, Patsy(Mike) of South Charleston, Dora (Clarence)of Griffithsville and Sallie (Anthony) of Danville; several nieces, nephews, brothers and sister-in-law whom loved him like a brother; his Living Faith Church family; and a host of friends.
A celebration of his life will be 1 p.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Living Faith Church, Marmet, WV with Mark Thomas, Don Kinder and Frank Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday at the church.
