John "Bill" Holton

JOHN (Bill) HOLTON, of Hamlin, WV; born December 7, 1934, passed away Tues, November 18, 2014 at the age of 79 years. He was the son of the late Roma and Ima Virginia (Mullins) Holton. He was preceded in death by eight siblings: Forrest Holton, Scottie Holton, Bobby Holton, Thomas Holton, Rush Dale Holton, Pearl Smith, Mabel Adkins and Alice Holton. He was a retired auto worker from General Motors in Lordstown, OH.

He is survived by his two sons Lyle (Shelley) Holton of Lordstown and William (Roxanna) Holton of Lordstown and four grandchildren: Tiffany (Robert) Wilson of Columbus, OH, Jaclyn (David) Woodward of Lordstown, OH, Shane (Gina) Holton of Lordstown, OH and William Holton of Lordstown, OH. He also had four great-grandchildren: Brandon, Trenton, Gage and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by his siblings, Roy Holton of Youngstown, OH, Homer Holton of Myra, WV, Mary Linville of Hamlin, WV, Emmie Midkiff of Hamlin, WV and Carla Dean of Ravenswood, WV and many nieces and nephews.

Viewing will be from 11-1 on Saturday, November 22, 2014 at Handley Funeral Home, 7350 Lynn Ave, Hamlin, WV. Funeral services will be promptly at 1pm and interment will follow in the Holton Family Cemetery, Hamlin, WV.
