John Neace Jr., 77 of Branchland, WV died Thursday December 18, 2014 at St. Mary's Medical Center. He was born February 19, 1937 a son of the late John and Vergie Chevront Neace. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby, Calvin, Dewey, James, and PeeWee (Bill); his sisters, Marcella, May Zelda, Dorothy, and Victoria. He was a retired Police and Corrections Officer of Cuyhoga County, Ohio.
He is survived by his wife Carol Sarna Neace; a daughter Tina Dobos from Cleveland, Ohio; one grand-daughter Sarah (Shane) Cyrus; two great grand-children Caden and Courtland; one sister Sandra (Neace) Western; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Sunday December 21, 2014 at Montana Freewill Baptist Church, Ranger, WV with Mark Hatfield and Earnest Neace Officiating. Burial will follow at Lambert Cemetery, Ranger. Viewing will be after 6 PM Saturday at the church. McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV is in charge of arrangements.
