Joshua Thadd Stevenson

Joshua T. Stevenson, 41, of South Charleston, WV passed away on January 6, 2024 after a long battle with cancer. He left this world with Dad and Mom by his side.

Joshua was a graduate of Van High School. He attended the National Institute of Technology in Cross Lanes after high school.  He had many jobs but working at McCoy’s in Van was his favorite.  He loved the people and the friendly atmosphere.  Josh never met a stranger.

Hill climbing on his motorcycle was his greatest joy in life.

He is survived by his parents, Stephen and Kathleen Stevenson of Foster; brother, Brent (Jamie) of Davenport, FL; nephew, Conner; and niece, Madison of Davenport FL; and his dog, Brody that he treasured.  Joshua has many aunts, uncles and cousins who loved him very much.

The Stevenson family would like to thank Hospice Care of Charleston for their loving care of Josh and his family.  Candace Smith thank you for everything the last three years.  Aunt Candy you were there for me.

A graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Memory Gardens, Madison, WV with Rev. Tom Bias officiating.
