"JR." Johhny Salmons

J.R. (Johnny) Salmons, 81, of West Hamlin, WV went to be with Jesus on October 1, 2022 in Lincoln Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born October 14, 1940.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents who raised him, Bob & Alice Salmons along with a sister Mary Rose.
He was retired from the St Albans Department of Highways interstate division. He is survived by his ex wife Mary Salmons; 3 children Becky, Robin, and Wayne (Kendra) Salmons; five grandchildren Ben & Alex Scurto, Hannah (Caleb) Parnell, Julie Sapin and Gabe Salmons; and one great grandson Cal Parnell.
The family would like to thank Lincoln Nursing and Rehab for taking such great care of our beloved father & grandfather.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, October 6 at Handley Funeral Home in Hamlin, WV with Rev Lonnie Wilson and Ray Adkins officiating. A Private Burial will be on the Family Farm on Lower Mud River.
Visitation will be from noon until service time at the funeral home.
