Juanita Mae Mullins

Juanita Mae Mullins, 88, of Beards Fork, WV, went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2016. She was born February 4, 1928 in Madison, WV to the late James Henry and Lurie Lawson Sowers. She was preceded in death by her husband Arthur Mullins, Jr. and daughter Geraldine.

She was a faithful member of Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church, Beards Fork, WV, where she served as a Sunday School Teacher, President of the Mission, and faithful in working with other auxiliaries.

She is survived by nine children, Rosa Mullins of Beards Fork, WV; Cynthia (Benjie) Rakes of Dunbar, WV; Arthur Mullins III of Beards Fork, WV; Minister Charles (Karen) Mullins and Debra Mullins of Charleston, WV; Rev. Douglas (Shawna) Mullins and Darrell (Vickie) Mullins of Beards Fork, WV; Lurie Mullins of Charleston, WV; Mark (Rikkinia) Mullins of Charlotte, NC; sister, Rosetta Henry of Logan, WV; 11 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews and one uncle.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, June 16 at Handley Funeral Home, 439 Phipps Avenue, Danville, WV 25053 with the Rev. Herman James officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at the Mullins Family Cemetery, Robinson, WV.
