Judith Ann McComas Chambers, 82 years old, from Danville, WV passed away Monday, April 8, 2024 at Boone Memorial Hospital.
Judy was an enthusiastic supporter of 4H. She was the former leader of the Domineers Club and 4H All Star. She was an active supportive mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother in all aspects of our lives.
She was the daughter of the late Eustice “Mac” and Clara McComas. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years James W. “Jim” Chambers; her sister Doris “Jean” Fry; and brother Eustice “Jack” McComas.
Those left to cherish her loving memory is her daughter Donna (Robert) Burton; son, James “Doug” (Cheryl) Chambers; grandchildren, Sarah (Josh) Wymer, Adam (Jaime) Burton, Douglas Chambers, and Heather (William) Cleveland; great-grandchildren, Mayleigh and Levi Cleveland, Annistyn and Elaina Wymer; her sister Katherine “Kittie” White; and many nieces and nephews.
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Rachel Dingess for her love and care. Also, thanks to Boone Memorial Hospital.
Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 13 at Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV with Nathan Craddock officiating. Burial will follow in Boone Memorial Park, Madison, WV.
Visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
