Judy Carol Donahue, 78, of Branchland peacefully went to be with The Lord February 17, 2025 after a short and unexpected illness. She was born in Ranger, WV and is the daughter of the late Fred and Cuba Browning. She was wed to the love of her life, the late Gary "Smokey" Donahue, for fifty-six years.
She is survived by her daughter, Beth Gross (Richard), of Branchland, WV and her son, Chad White (Britany), of Ranger, WV. Judy was also a loving "Mimi" to five grandchildren-Ethan Gross, Mason Gross, Hailey White, Kendra White, and Kenzie White. She is also survived by two siblings-Joyce Chapman (Mark) of Gallipolis, OH and Craig Browning of Huntington, WV. She is also leaving behind her most beloved aunt, Joy Plybon of Maryville, TN and one exceptionally special brother-in-law, Jerry "Shine" Donahue (Urna) of Midkiff, WV.
Judy's life was greatly touched and enriched by the love and companionship she found in her niece, Robbie Donahue Isaacs. Judy was a member of CenterPoint Baptist Church as well as a loving and faithful friend to Branchland United Baptist Church.
Visitation will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025, at 6pm, and Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 23, 2025, at 2pm. Rev. Lonnie Gore and Rev. Earl Ramey will be officiating. Pallbearers will be Ethan and Mason Gross, Brandon and Ryan Browning, Mark Chapman, and Okey Noe. The burial will be conducted on February 24, 2025 @11am, Ridge Lawn Memorial Park.
