Julia M. “Pinky” Ellis, 70, of Ranger, WV entered into the glorious presence of Jesus, who she served so faithfully for many years, on Dec 11th, 2021 at Cabell Health Center. Earth decreased, but heaven increased on this day.
Julia was born to the late Merle & Jack Dempsey on Nov 9th, 1951. She was preceded in death by sisters, Shirley Martin, Zinnia Vance, Sandy McCloud and brothers, Kermit Nelson and Leonard Nelson.
Julia is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 50 years, Clifford. She is also survived by her two sons, Clifford II (Sarah) Ellis and Randy (Christy) Ellis. As well as her precious grand babies (Luke, Calleigh, Hailey, Jordan, and Landon). She is also survived by siblings: James Nelson, Susie Harmon, Shelvey Hult, Bessie Nives, Carol Dempsey, and Bonnie Holstein.
Julia also leaves behind a multitude of nieces, nephews, friends, cousins and her church family that she loved so dearly.
Julia "Pinky" held many titles. From loving wife, to incredible mamaw, to amazing mother, to sister, to aunt, to friend. But, the title she held most close to her heart, was follower of Christ. She has gained her eternal reward, and rejoices in the glory of God with the saints now and forevermore.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, Dec 15th, 2021 from 6-8pm at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV.
Funeral service will be Thursday, Dec 16th, 2021 at 1pm at Ferrellsburg Church of God with Randy Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Pecks Mill, WV.
