Justine Frances Sharp, 82, of Forest, VA, formerly of Van, West Virginia, died Saturday, April 8, 2017. She was the wife of the late Lloyd Sharp, Jr.
Justine was born October 7, 1934 in Prenter, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Cecil Brown and Opal Thomas Brown. Justine was retired from the Magic Mart in Danville. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by one brother Paul Brown.
She is survived by her three sons, Cecil Sharp (Janet) of Charleston, WV, Johnny Sharp (Louise) of Forest, VA, and Joey Sharp (Sherry) of Van, WV; one brother Phillip Brown of Kill Devil Hills, NC; one sister Christine Elswick of Ft. Lauderdale, FL; five grandchildren, Carrie Hamilton, Jennifer Sharp, John Sharp, Scotty Sharp, and Amber Brown; and five great-grandchildren, Grayson, Ella, Calli, Lillian, and Hunter.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV.
A funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 12, 2017 in the chapel of Handley Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Madison Memory Gardens.
