Karon Fay Brunty-Clay-Adkins-Ginn, of West Hamlin WV,
Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on December 31, 2021.
Karon was born in Branchland, WV on December 21, 1945. Her parents Elmer Brad Clay and Willa Pearl Brunty, two sisters Francis Burns and Corliss Kay Davidson, precede her in death. She leaves behind her loving husband Bobby Tony Ginn of Culloden WV, daughter Laronda (Ronald) Adkins, Grandson Bradley (Xinyuan Xu) Adkins all of West Hamlin, WV. Two caring nieces Lisa Perry and Joanna Davidson and siblings: Terrance Brunty of Mantua, OH, Larry (Linda) Stephens of Branchland, WV Carol Roark of Cleveland OH,
Myrtle (Garland) Perry, Jack Clay, Susie Clay all of East Lynn, WV, Gerald (Veronica) Clay of Wayne WV. Numerous nieces and nephews whom she adored.
Karon was a barber by trade and friend by profession. She cut hair in West Hamlin, WV for 36 years and made numerous friendships that lasted a lifetime. She never was without a smile and joke to brighten the lives of all that she knew and met. She was loved by everyone and will be greatly missed. Services will be conducted at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home Inc. in West Hamlin Sunday January 02, 2022 with open visitation at 12:00pm, funeral services will be held 1:00 pm with, Brother Donald Hager and Brother Garland Perry officiating; burial to follow at the Davidson Family cemetery located on McClarity Road, Branchland WV.
