Katrina Ann Searls

Katrina Ann (Sissy) Searls 87, of Alkol was born October 8, 1937 and passed away on October 23, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loving family. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, O.J. Searls, of 69 years, two daughters, Lana Gillenwater and Sandi Lovejoy, and one son, Gary Searls.

She is survived by her children, Bruce (Beverly) Searls of Alkol, Ron Searls of Branchland, Joyce (Dale) Armstrong of Sod, Jay (Robin) Searls of Alkol, son-in-law Elgie Lovejoy of Woodville; 19 grandchildren; 29 great-grandchildren and 9 great-great-grandchildren.

She lived a beautiful long life. A special woman loved by all her friends and family. She will be greatly missed.

Services will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, at Handley Funeral Home, starting at 11 a.m. A burial will follow at Orchard Hills Memorial Garden, Yawkey, WV. Visitation Sunday, October 27, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8p.m.
