Kay F. Drake, 71, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 18, 2012 at the Kobacker House, Columbus, Ohio.
She was preceded in death by her father, Paul L. Drake; mother, Margaret Butcher Drake; siblings, Paul L., Kerry R. and Alice F. Drake.
She was employed as a Patient Care Technician for 26 years at Grant Medical Center in Columbus, Ohio.
She is survived by children, Donna J. Drake of Rand, WV and Natalie A. Drake of Columbus; siblings, Rev. Lawrence (Marlowe) Drake of Milwaukee, WI, James (Sharon) Drake, Thomas (Ruth) Drake, William and Donnie Drake of Madison, WV Gwendolyn Drake of Rand, WV Nancy Smith of Turkey, NC and Margaret Drake of Columbus; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many special friends.
Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, November 28, 2012 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV. Interment will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time.
