Kellie Adkins, 82, of Madison, WV passed away January 3, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Division, Charleston, WV.
He was a retired coal miner and a member of the UMWA. He was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Martha Miller Adkins; five sisters; and five brothers.
He is survived by his wife, Hope; daughters, Anna Renee Necaise of Dayton, OH, Patty Jarrett of Ashland, OH, Rita Carol Adkins of Comfort, WV, Rebecca Lynn Duke of Zebulon,NC, and Evelee Adkins of South Charleston, WV; sons, Roger Arnold of Mud River, Eddie Ray Adkins of Comfort, WV, Donald Kellie Adkins of Supply, NC, Andy Lee Adkins of Winchester, VA and James Alex Adkins of Madison, WV; sisters, Anna Mae McCallister of Griffithsville, WV, and Maxine Adkins of Big Ugly.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, January 7, 2020 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with Marcella Stowers officiating. Burial will follow in Adkins Cemetery, Spurlockville, WV.
Friends may call one hour to the service at the funeral home.
