Kenneth Ray Green

Kenneth Ray Green, 70, of Barrett, WV passed away February 3, 2017. He was born July 2, 1946 and was a son of the late Basil and Opal Green. He was also preceded in death by daughter, Connie Sue Vance.
He was a retired coal miner from Eastern Peabody Coal Company and a member of the UMWA.
He is survived by his sons, Kenny Wayne Green of Cleveland, TN and Scotty Ray Green of Bim, WV; daughter, Annette Marie Kersey of Knoxville, TN; brother, Basil Green of Pond Fork, WV; sisters, Betty Freeman of Nitro, WV and Jone Foster of Missouri; grandchildren, Savana Kersey, Katie Clinton, Miranda McNeely, E.J. Vance and Jared Miolyn. He is also survived by his ex-wife, caretaker and friend, Anna Sue Jones.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 10 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Scotty Elswick officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
