Kenneth Ray Holstein, 93, of Madison, WV passed away March 21, 2015 Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston.
He was a retired coal miner with 43 years at Armco Steel a member of the UMWA, and a member of New Hope Baptist Church.
The family would like to thank the Angels of Hubbard Hospice House for their loving care and support.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lonnie and Stella Price Holstein; his wives, Lillian Holstein and Mazie Holstein; and a brother Alvin Holstein
He is survived by his wife, Verna; daughters, Jeanenne (Bill) Campbell, of Charleston, Veda (Tony) Ball of Foster, Renee (Joe) Groves of Charlotte NC and Barbara Flood of Goldsboro, NC; a son, Bob (Nancy) Holstein of Charleston; stepchildren, Ray (Brenda) Cook of Madison, Nancy (Calvin) Duncan of Madison, Bill (Shelia) Cook of Madison, Diana (Dewayne) Green, Jackie Woodrum, Darlene (John) Hager, Denise(Dennis) Vint and Dennis (Kim) Woodrum; 36 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson; sisters, Deltha Price and Ida Kincaid; and brothers, Morris Holstein and Larry Holstein.
Funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville, WV with the Rev. Ray Barker officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
