Kerrlie Eugene Bishop

Kerrlie Eugene “Cubby” Bishop, 80, of Seth went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 21, 2015 at home.
He was born June 30, 1934 and was a son of the late Lawrence and Wavie Gladys Belcher Bishop. He was also preceded in death by brother, Tommy Bishop.
He was a retired coal miner for Peabody Coal Company and a member of UMWA. He was a U.S. Airforce veteran. He attended Hopkins Fork Church.
He is survived by his wife, Alfreda Griffis Bishop; children, Tammy Runion of Seth, John Bishop and Lawrence Bishop both of TN and Edward Bishop of Ohio; ten grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and siblings, Patsy, Kathrine, Jacklynn, Anna Sue, Clyde, Denzil, Ansil, Donald, Billy Ray and Gary Lee.
Service will be 2 p.m. Friday, February 27 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with the Rev. Phil Rowe officiating with Military Rites performed by Daniel Boone VFW #5578 Madison, WV.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
