Kevin Dale Browning, 46, of Wharton, WV passed away at home surrounded by family on May 7, 2018 after a long battle with colon cancer. He was born in Madison, WV on April 3, 1972 to the late Roger Browning and Betty Harris.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Phillip Sr. and Athylene Crouse, and Clyde Browning.
Left to cherish his memories are his daughters, Kaytlin Browning of Wharton, Aniston Kuhn of Morgantown and Alexis Browning of Huntington; grandsons, Ayden, Tony and Colton Meade; sister, Angela (Jack) Hodges of Huntington; brother, Jeff (Belinda) Browning of Huntington; half siblings, Melissa Browning of North Ridgeville, Ohio, Marsha Williamson of Fayetteville, NC and David Browning of North Ridgeville, Ohio; step-mother, Mamie Browning of North Ridgeville, Ohio, step-father, Bill Harris of Lincoln County, WV; companion, Shannon Jeffrey; 15 nieces and nephews; several great nieces and nephews; aunt and uncle, Shelia (Robert) Workman and Phillip Jr. (Theresa) Crouse all of Wharton; great-aunt, Velma Brown of Pageland, SC; and best friend since grade school, Ron Walker.
He was a former employee of Speed Mining, and a former member of the Mountain Man Motorcycle Club. He loved riding his Harley and he really loved being in the mountains with friends. He was a born again Christian.
Service will be 3 p.m. Friday, May 11 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville with Donnie Elam officiating. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison. Pall bearers will be Keither Baisden, Bruce Baisden, Jerry Williams, George Workman, Terry St. Clair and Dale Armstrong.
