Larry F. Cabell

Larry F. Cabell, 83, of Foster, WV passed away at home on September 28, 2023.

He was preceded in death by his wife Carol Sue Bing Cabell; his parents Sewell and Fanny Cabell; his daughter Fanny Sue Aleshire; granddaughter Carol Nicole Craddock; and his brother William Cabell Jr.

Larry was a retired coal miner.  He worked for Bethlehem Steel.  He was happiest when he was in the garden.  He was also quite the jokester, and his sense of humor will be missed.

He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Amy and Keith Kuhn of Madison; sister, Mary Virginia (Bill) Ross of Lexington, SC; sister-in-law, Sandra Angius of Murrells Inlet, SC; grandchildren, Amber Aleshire of Foster, Jamie Cantebury of Danville, Kayla (Steven) Wolfe of S. Charleston, Adam Kuhn of Madison, and Nicholas Kuhn of Madison; great grandchildren, Chance Aleshire, Hunter Bailey, Annie Bailey, Jorjia Frye, Chevelle Frye, Michael Frye, Nevaeh Arthur, Trevor Clark, Hayden Aleshire, Allison Mayse, Sawyer Wolfe, Laney Wolfe, Rodney Aaron Craddock; great-great grandchildren, Easton Bailey, Emma, Layken  and Ren Brogan, and Avery Booth; and several nieces and nephews.

Per his request he will be cremated and there will be no services.  The family will have a memorial in his honor at a later date. Handley Funeral Home in Danville, WV is assisting the family.
