Larry Franklin Goodwin, 70, of Charleston went home to be with the Lord on Friday, November 4, 2016 at Hubbard Hospice House in Charleston after a long illness.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for four years during the Vietnam War. He was a retired coal miner and avid fisherman.
He was preceded in death by his father, Chester Goodwin, Sr.; his brothers, Chester "Buddy" Goodwin, Jr. and Eddie Goodwin; and his daughters, Dreama Manns and Lisa Yeomans.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy and his son, Dayton both at home; his daughters, Angela (Billy) Hager and Cindy (Chuck) Duncan; his son, Frank Goodwin; mother, Beatrice Workman; brothers John Goodwin, James Goodwin and Jerry Goodwin; sisters, Debby Mullins and Tina Goodwin Hunt; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He will be missed by many.
