Larry Stanford Ross

Rev. Larry Stanford Ross, Sr. 81 of Ridgeview passed away at his home September 9, 2020.
Larry married his loving wife of 60 years on January 9, 1960. He served in the Army from 1963 -1965 and later became an electrician in the coal mines retiring in 1994.
He lived his life to serve the Lord and was called to preach on January 27, 1983 then went on to become pastor of the Morning Star House of Prayer. He dedicated his life to being everything God called him to be.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Lewis and Ruby Ross, two sisters and two brothers, and his angel baby who passed at birth August 1960.
He is survived by his wife; Wanda Ross, son; Larry (Sherry) Ross of Foster, WV grandchildren; Maranda (Ben) Hapney of Comfort, WV, Jacob Ross of Ft Benning, GA, and Luke Ross of Morgantown, WV, great grandchildren; Kinsley, Kaden, Brayden, and Cameron, brother in law who was always like a brother, Johnny Barker of Ridgeview, WV, sisters; Donna Balla of Nellis, WV and Shirley Nash of Michigan, along with loving nieces and nephews.

Graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, September 11, 2020 at Kinder Cemetery, Costa, WV with Rev. Reggie Woodrum officiating. Military gravesides rites with Daniel Boone VFW Post 5578, Madison, WV.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, CDC guidelines will be observed with mask and social distancing encouraged.
