Lawrence Adkins, 72, of Huntington, WV, died Wednesday, January 19, 2022, at St. Mary's Hospital in Huntington, WV.
Lawrence was born September 15, 1949 in Harts, WV, a son of the late Lucille and Denny Adkins. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by brothers Claude and Willard Adkins.
Lawrence was an avid storyteller and loved spending time with family.
He is survived by sister Lena Rakes, brother Daniel Adkins (wife Devona), sister Donna Randolph, sister Martha Harmon (husband Tom), and sister Mary Kerns (husband Jerry). He was also loved by many nieces and nephews.
We would also like a special thank you to Gary and Kitty Eaves for the love and care provided to Lawrence.
A graveside service will be held Sunday, January 30, 2022, at Danville Memorial Park at 2:00 pm. Handley Funeral Home in Danville is assisting the family.
