Lawrence Dolin

Lawrence Dolin, 97, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, January 27, 2018 in Foster, WV. He was born one December 16, 1920 to Noah and Alice Dolin.
He was a loving father who devoted his entire life to his daughters. He loved being surrounded by his grandchildren and great grandchildren who adored him dearly.
Lawrence was an angelic man with unlimited generosity and compassion for others. He was such an inspiration to all who were blessed to know him. Lawrence enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid hunter, fisherman and gardener. He was a member of the Quinland Church of Christ for more than 50 years. He was a WWII Army veteran, a retired coal miner, and a member of the UMWA. He will be deeply missed and will be etched in our memories and our hearts forever. He was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, seven brothers and one grandson.
He is survived by his four daughters, Kathy (Edgar) Dolin of Ridgeview, Roseanna (Marshall) Capps of Ridgeview, Rochelle (Jerry) Adkins of Ashford and Tammy (Tom) Page of Hernshaw; seven grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2018 at Handley Funeral Home,Danville, WV with Nate Dolin and Richard Harold officiating.
Burial will follow in Memory Gardens, Madison.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
