Leo "Enny" Skeens

Leo Nello “Enny” Skeens, 84 of Hamlin, WV passed away Tuesday June 7, 2016 at home.
He was born August 16, 1931 a son of the late William and Virgie Bryant Skeens. He was a retired employee for the Town of Hamlin serving as Town Cop and Town Maintenance. He was also an Army Korean War Veteran.
He was also preceded in death by his wife Kathleen Yeager Skeens; a granddaughter Terra Jeffers; and several brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his daughter, LaGena “Genie” Spears of Milton, WV; great granddaughter, Terryn Hall of San Antonio, TX; sister, Eleanor Weaver of Hamlin, WV; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Friday June 10, 2016 at Handley Funeral Home, Hamlin, WV with Brian Barrett and Milo Cummings officiating.
Burial will follow with Military Graveside Rites by American Legion Post 111 of Hamlin, WV at Lincoln Memorial Park, Hamlin, WV. Visitation will be two hours prior to service on Friday.
