LeRoy Crockett, 76, of Spurlockville passed on to meet his Lord and Savior at 2 a.m. on Sunday, July 31, 2016.
He suffered through a lot of years of removed disks in his neck and back and six surgeries. The loving nurses, therapist, doctors and others at Boone Memorial Hospital, Boone County, Madison, WV were great with his stay there. He was a retiree from Union Carbide. He was a loving husband and father and an above record employee.
He is survived by his wife, Freda; daughter, Carol Holmes of Pliny, WV and Alisa Giesel of Golden, Colorado, WV; son, Brian Crockett of Spurlockville; sister, Sandra Kennedy of Ripley, WV; brother, Woody of Beckley, Donald of Fairplain, WV and Bobby of Cincinnati, Ohio; and three grandchildren.
Service will be held at a later date.
Arrangements by Handley Funeral Home in Danville.
