Leroy Workman

Leroy Workman, 70, of Bim, WV formerly of man, WV went home April 1, 2023 to be with his heavenly Father doing what he enjoyed: working for the coal industry, with over 40 years experience. He was born January 9, 1953 in Summersville, WV to Flavie and Tessie Workman.

Preceding him in death were his parents, son Jason, his first wife Doris, and his brother Ricky Lee.

Leroy was a friend to all and member of Landville Freewill Baptist Church and also attended Bim Freewill Baptist Church. He loved spending time with his Becky, road-tripping, shopping, hitting the pawn shops, and riding in the woods.

He leaves behind his wife and soulmate, Rebecca Massey Workman, grandson Jesse Adkins, brother Nick (Kim) Workman, daughter-in-law Heather Lampron, his furbabies Emma and Shiloh, and a host of family members, great friends, and co-workers.

Services will be Saturday, April 8, 2023  at 11:00 AM with Scottie Elswick officiating. Burial will follow be at Blaine Memorial Cemetery in Cottageville, WV.
