Lilia J. Vance, 83 of Branchland, WV passed away Tuesday September 22, 2015 at Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House of Huntington. She was born August 17, 1932 a daughter of the late Cecil and Fannie Jones Manns. She was also preceded in death by her husband Owen Vance Jr.; daughter Elsie Kay "Susie" Hager; and several brothers and sisters. She was a homemaker and a member of Kiahs Creek Baptist Church.
She is survived by her children, Dwight (Linda) Vance, Hi (Cora) Vance, Ruthie (Dan) Bustos, Cecil (Dorothy) Vance, Fanny (Richard) Casey, Edgar Vance, and Georgie (Johnny) Harris; 21 grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren; a sister Effie Aldridge; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Saturday September 26, 2015 at McGhee-Handley Funeral Home, West Hamlin, WV with Audley Wiley and Lonnie Wiley officiating. Burial will follow at Queens Ridge Cemetery, Harts, WV. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 PM Friday at the funeral home.
