Lillian Rebel Hager, 59, of Danville, W.V., departed this earthly life and entered eternal rest on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 at home, after battling many health issues.
She was born February 5, 1963 in Danville, W.V., the daughter of George Hager and late Freda Hager Both of Danville, W.V. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her grandparents and her great grandparents.
Lillian “Sissy” loved with everything she had in her. She loved all of her family, friends and listening to gospel music. She had special ways of letting people in her life know that she cared and loved them dearly. She was a loving kind caring spunky woman.
Those left to cherish her memory include her three sons, Josh Clay (Erica), Nathan McCormick, and Nolan McCormick (Kelsey); one daughter, Rachel Dunn (Derik); four brothers, Jimmy Hager, Amos Hager, Larry Hager (Dee), and David Hager (Tammy); one sister, Michelle Hager; seven grandchildren, Tristan Dunn (Kira Hill), Preston Dunn, Landon Clay, Lilly Clay, Harley Clay, Damian McCormick, and Owen McCormick; and a host of special nephews, nieces, great nephew great nieces, Uncles, Aunts and cousins.
Service will be held on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 5:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Handley Funeral Home in Danville.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lillians honor at the funeral home.
