In loving memory of Linda Gay Callahan who was born September 25, 1964 to Ivin Ray Burdette and Barbara Jean Dean. She left to be with the Lord on July 19, 2017.
She is survived by her husband Matthew Callahan; her step father Edward Dean; three children, Jennifer Christian, Melissa Beverly and Shaun Meadows all from Madison; one sister, Rita Greene from Huntsville, Alabama; three brothers, Larry Burdette from Huntsville, Alabama, Jerry Burdette from Charleston WV and David Schrader from Clinton, Iowa; grandchildren, Zackary Meadows, Brandon Beverly, Emily Crum, Nicholas Meadows, Matthew Meadows, Wesley Meadows, Brookie Berry, Layla Loggins, Bethany Loggins and Audrina Christian; one great grandbaby, Lylah Keeney; and she had lots of nieces and nephews.
She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. Her children and her grandbabies were her life.
Service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 26 at Handley Funeral Home, Danville. Burial will follow in Ball Cemetery, Drawdy.
Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
